  2. Bought this car last year from the company I work for (Carvana). It came in as a trade and was destined for wholesale until I bought it. Before me, it was a one-owner car in the Seattle area since new. The original owner put 26,200 miles on it and I added ~1500 since then. I had the car transported to me via enclosed transport. When I got it, I changed all the fluids, spark plugs/wires/coils, and added stainless brake lines. The car also has a Cobalt intake that I added. I've been driving it to work almost every day I go to the office (hybrid schedule, so not daily). I also transferred the Racing Beat front sway bar I had from another NB to this car along with a Goodwin Racing muffler. The car currently is on new Supermiata Tecna coilovers with the Sport spring rates with the rear adjuster extenders set up to poke through the rear carpet for ease of use. New (<500 mile) 15x9 Konig Hexaform wheels and Kumho V730 200tw tires (225s). I also added a Guardian Design Corsa 330 steering wheel (a better-than-oem quality leather wheel that is 330mm diameter but compatible with the OEM airbag. I installed the Lotus seats from my Elise, but will be putting the OEM seats back in the car for sale (I don't want my OEM Lotus seats to go away while I still have my Lotus!) Asking $16k for AZSolo as-is (minus Lotus seats), somewhat negotiable as stock. Otherwise I plan to put the car back to stock and put it on Bring-a-Trailer or something. A red 27k mile 2004 recently sold for $16,550 (+5% buyer premium). This car is absolutely mint. It might as well be a brand new 2003 Miata. 10/10 interior and exterior - and I mean that. I don't think I can even name any scratches to the paint. I did a single pass detail with my Rupes polisher and sealed it with a hybrid ceramic coating a month ago. Only the OEM wheels have some curb rash. OEM black top is perfect, hardtop is really good other than minor chips along the edges. AC blows cold, heat is hot, OEM bose stereo with CD player works perfectly. I currently use a 12v bluetooth to FM transmitter for audio and it works perfectly. I did this to maintain the OEM system out of respect of how clean the car is. All stock parts included. Two keys (one set completely unused since new - plastic has no wear.) All pictures here, more if you want - just ask. I love the car, but we already own 5 vehicles with potentially a 6th very soon. 3 are two-seaters (the Elise, STR ND, and this NB). Unfortunately it's the NB that has to make room. shock adjuster in the trunk below

  4. Hello Racers, This is your friendly reminder that registration for our last event of the Spring 2024 series opens this Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm. http://msreg.com/PHXAZSolo2024Spring4 This will be a normal points event. As always we anticipate a rush to register and you may be allowed to initially pick a spot in a run group, but by the time you check out it may be sold out and you'll be waitlisted. I'll be watching live and will redirect your run group choice to an open group as quickly as I can and confirm your entry. Run Group C is always the first to sell out so maybe consider an alternative if you don't want to get waitlisted right off the bat. Good luck with the race to get into the races... Also, the Region is hosting a Social event at Ground Control Craft Food and Drink immediately after this event. The Region will provide the Food and Non Alcoholic drinks. Beer and other alcoholic drinks will be the responsibility of each person on their own. This link leads to the event which is to allow people to RSVP and pay for the banquet so that we can give the restaurant an accurate head count prior to the event. Admission to the Banquet for PASR members is $5 each and all non-members and guests of members $20 each, which is our cost. http://msreg.com/PASR2024SpringSocial Please come out and rehash the Spring series with us and enjoy a few moments with each other away from the track before the long off season starts. Thanks, Lance
  5. Ok, after I asked the question and thought abut it more I was thinking that it meant DNF, thanks for clearing that up Kim.
  6. Eric, All cones (except pointer cones) count a two second penalty. What the Pylon press was addressing is whether a cone hit at or after the finish results in an automatic DNF (no time given).
  7. Curious at the answer to #10 of the Pylon Quiz... Question 10. Hitting a cone at the finish line of a SCCA approved course will result in an automatic loss of time on that run. T/F Answer 10. False. Hitting a cone at the finish line of a SCCA approved course will not result in an automatic loss of time. However, the safety officer at any SCCA sanctioned event can apply this penalty if they feel the driver’s behavior is a danger to self, others, or the timing equipment. It was my understanding that all cones before and after the start and finish counted. Case in point, I accidentally hit 2 cones before the starting line for my second run in March, and I was charged those 2 cones (that run stunk anyway), should I have been charged those 2 cones?

  10. Wish I could help. I got some kumho take offs but 255/40/17s
  11. Yep, what Stephen says is true. I drive the 2023 version of the car which has a slightly wider wheel. I run the Bridgestones and am very happy with them. But, if you look at the results from any National event for DS class you will rarely find anything other than the Bridgestone RE-71Rs.
  12. Got any heat cycled out 660s you need to dispose of? How about some almost used up Nankangs? I need at least 2 tires to make one more track day this spring. Thanks, Lance
  13. Bridgestone is still the right option for the car. RE-71RS is it's name now.
  14. Hi all, I know I should be / have been paying more attention, but what is the current go-to autocross tire for what I currently run? 2017 Toyota 86 in DS with 17 x 7 wheels, currently with very old RE71Rs, 215/45-17. Looking forward to your comments. John

  18. All Sundays except for the two day event
  19. Website and MTC trumps a typo.......... 😉

  23. Hi David, it was put in the trailer.
  24. So, as it turns out, I am the forgetful soul who left the Milwaukee M12 compressor at the March 9th event. Hopefully it got put into lost and found in one of the storage units. If so, I'll pick it up in April. Thanks
  25. Thank you again, Jason, for making all of this happen. I know how much time and effort this takes. In G Stock there shows a Avery Camon driving an '05 350Z. Not the right class for sure. Should be F Stock, if Stock I think.
