We are looking for help in setting up the course in the morning, also in tearing down in the afternoon for the both dates of upcoming 2-day event at Kino.

The upcoming event will be at Kino, and THERE WILL BE TIME-ONLY SESSIONS.

However, the default setting especially for those who registered for Podium Club events was set to “No Time Only”.

If you are unsure, please chack back your registration and update.

Is the entry fee for Kino the same as for Podium Club? I thought it would be the normal $42 for competition and $10 for time only runs, since it's not a Podium Club event, but PayPal has the $80 fee listed online when I go to pay.

For those coming to Kino via I-10:

Arizona Department of Transportation is currently widening Interstate 10 near the Kino Sports Complex. This project may impact your planned traffic routes during the event. 

Kino Sports Complex recommends signing up for updates and traffic alerts via ADOT.

We are short of staff that day and we desperately need help.

Quicker setup of the course would allow starting the runs earlier, and being done early, before it possibly gets hot.

Please remember, our autocross events are operated entirely on a volunteer basis.

For the events at Podium Club, we are revising the price for our upcoming autocross events.

The price for events at other venues will not change.

• $80 for for SCCA member, $100 for non members.
• No Time-Only
• 120 registrants cap.

The nature of the events there will be a lot different from those at Kino.

It is a dedicated track with superb grip and spacious course.

On top of that, Podium Club is a commercial entity, and they need to make profit.

While feedback from people on the January-18 event was mostly positive, with the same price as Kino, this is simply not sustainable.

The run-work assignments at this event is A-C / B-D; run in A/C, work in C/A, or run in B/D, work in D/B.

If you need to leave the site early, request run groups A or C.  (You can update your preference until registration closes)

We are not planning Time-Only session on this event, with a potential extra run(s).

3. go to “Crash Detection”

4. Toggle off the switch next to “Call After Severe Crash”.

Otherwise, leave your phone outside of your car when you run.

As this is our first event at this venue, and we are receiving significant interest from potential participants in Phoenix area, we will open the registration on Friday, January 2, a week earlier than our normal schedule.

We would like to get as good idea as possible on how many will attend, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

Note that this is the day the registration also opens for Jan-11 Sierra Vista event.

The local region does not keep any of that $20. It goes straight to the National office, we just pass along the cost.

The full year membership prices have also gone up by $5, again going straight to the national office. The benefit of being an annual member is that a chunk of the fee goes back into the local region, and the breakeven cost of an annual membership is probably not that many events, so I highly encourage everyone who hasn't already to buy a full year membership.

I see two more events scheduled for 2025; Aug 31 and Sep 28 at Kino. And then nothing showing yet for Oct, Nov, and Dec?

Looking into 2026, also nothing showing for Jan and Feb. I know the Gem show is in town Jan 28 to Feb 15th. 

Any way that you can maybe fit the Musselman Site into your plans as a stop-gap? Or, anything else maybe? I know you're trying, but what can you share at this time.

After thorough discussion, we are revising the price for our autocross events.

The entry fee is increased by $12 for online pre-registration, $15 for on-site registration.

Based on feedback from the community, Time-Only fee remains at $10 for all participants.

This decision did not come easily.  As we previously communicated, we have been losing money at events to a level that is not sustainable.  This increase will keep us going for at least next five years.
