  1. This would either require the people that do all the things to make these events happen to work 2 days over a weekend. When I first started autocrossing 20+ years ago I wondered why we didn't have more then one event a month. At that point the club was running split morning/afternoon event with TO's in the afternoon group. I figured out that if I registered for the afternoon and signed up to do teardown I could get 2 sets of runs, only eat up half my day and not have to do back to back run/work for 4 groups. That led to me being recruited into Asst Equipment Chief. Fast forward to today, I try to get there before gate open to make sure setup serves smooth, serve a event chair throughout the event and still find myself helping with teardown at the end. I no longer wonder why don't we do 2 event a month. This is not meant to sound like a rant or complaint but please remember this is an all volunteer run organization and we are constantly looking for volunteers to help cover critical areas. The only we we could put on more events is with more of these people. If anyone is interested please reach out to a member of the SC>

  2. Hello all, AZ Solo is transitioning to using Motorsports Reg as our Truth of Record for everything Registration and Timing and Scoring related. This will include some changes that entrants may notice in the way that Notifications and Run\Work assignments are provided. Entrants will need to log in to their respective MSR account and view their dashboard for event details as well as make sure their email address in MSR is one that will reach entrants in a timely manner. For instance, an email will be sent via blast from the list of registered drivers for the November 13 event shortly. Please verify that you received this email from MSR and then log in to your dashboard and verify that all of your entered registration details are correct. You will see your chosen car, class, PAX modifier, run group and grid # as well as your work assignment in your details. You can also view the attendees list to see all of the registered drivers with their respective registration details as well. Please remember that some of these details such as work assignment and grid #s are fluid and may be changed if needed before race day, so please check back in periodically. All of this is being done in an effort to make race day more efficient and accurate as well as providing a clearer more detailed look for everyone to use up to and including race day. If you have any questions or issues that need addressed, please let Registration know before race day so check in can go faster, easier, and more timely which may also lead to more runs per run group which we would all like! Thanks, Lance
