  1. Website and MTC trumps a typo.......... 😉
  2. Thank you again, Jason, for making all of this happen. I know how much time and effort this takes. In G Stock there shows a Avery Camon driving an '05 350Z. Not the right class for sure. Should be F Stock, if Stock I think.
  3. Yushi, Imagine our surprise today when we arrived at the gate at 7:15, and were told that you didn't open until 7:30. We talked our way in, promising to be good, and came back later for Tech which also was not there. So might I suggest that you all talk together first, and then decide on ONE PERSON to put this info out in the Forum. No big issue, and everyone is trying to help out, but this really needs to come from one source. Thanks.
  4. Not had this experience with my three Miatas, thank goodness, but if the rod bearings are that loose wouldn’t the oil pressure be significantly low? How many miles? Any history of lots of racing or autocrosses? Heavy usage?
  5. 👍 Perfect. Very simple, easy, important. Plan ahead for any next time. Just the display is not enough, it’s that announced DNF that’s important.
  6. Danielle, not aimed at anyone in particular. You and Lance did great to eventually be able to figure this out. But, someone in management needed to realize that with our formal “scoreboard” down, that drivers would not have access to that critical information. So a “Plan B” needed to be implemented. DNF’s are very important information, especially all four. For a possible next time.
  7. What Group was he in? Did anyone tell him of the four DNF’s if Live Timing was down..? That’s the only way people would know.
  8. It may be that this digital approach will allow Lance to find a way to have that integrate with MSR. MSR would be wise to help find a way to make this happen. Maybe that was why SCCA went this route. Also, whatever Lance needs from us to make his job easier is AOK with me.👍😎
  9. Ours cards have shown the annual Waiver for a couple of years now. Phoenix will not accept that, but Tucson and Sierra Vista will.
  10. Glenda and I have both been exposed to recent credit breaches, the latest through our Medical System. We have been provided with a free Equifax Credit Monitoring account for two years. Today Glenda received a Text Alert, supposedly from Equifax, (EQUIFAX ALERT!) stating that her Credit Score had just dipped by 51 points! It asked her to click on a link "for more info" to explore. She brought it to me to discuss. The link was.......... HTTP....noortimer.com/T42 (mis-typed on purpose). Be aware, this is indeed a well-known scam. Looked it up on the internet. BUT, since it said it was from Equifax, had her name and phone number, there was a strong inclination to trust it. These guys are very good. But Glenda is highly trained to not click any random links.😉 So just sharing with our Community to prevent anyone here from making this BIG mistake. It was a close one, despite our "training".😎
  11. A factor of the AMP surface (ever since new) was with any abrupt angled cutbacks (as with this course) tossed a lot of chaff/sand just offline. Very noticeable in D Group.
  12. OK, SCCA rules do not specifically mention cracked windshields at all. So the default I think would be Federal or State Regulations...... The federal regulations from the U.S. Department of Transportation — no crack larger than 3/4 inch in diameter, no two cracks within three inches of each other, no intersecting cracks, or cracks directly in the driver's view — are the minimum standards. Arizona law is exactly the same. I suggest that you are fine.😎
  13. Still haven’t pulled the trigger on your next car yet, huh Dave? Looks like you are “test-shopping”. Might want to change the car in your signature line to “TBD” ….😄 😉
  14. My two cents..... While no doubt better for a few, there are more people who have to work Saturdays than Sundays. And, those who have to travel to Tucson find Saturday events more difficult. I like having Saturday to prepare the car and get it ready than late Friday night. Now toss in travel time. Not a fan, here or in Phoenix. Unless a two day event, very few Clubs Nationally host Saturday events, especially Saturday only.
  15. Go here….. Then turn to page 247. Start reading until you find a category that fits your Specs. If not exactly there (A-B-C-D-E), then as Mark said, A Modified.
  16. No one is better than Ted Lewis of Lotus Elan fame. But not sure how much of this he does anymore.
  17. Like new, 37H"x 46W"x18D", one large drawer, two storage bins with shelves. Always in garage, excellent condition. $180 obo Near 67th ave and Greenway, no delivery Contact Scott at mopar az @ yahoo.com, or PM here
  18. Yes to no attendance restrictions, but you do know that nearby will be a golf course, condos, and luxurious hotel accommodations. So, pretty sure there will be at least the same noise restrictions. Maybe lower. Also, when we used to run there (for many, many years) prices crept up and up, and then for a while we even had to have an ambulance onsite. Finally, their pricing went really nuts. Definitely worth approaching the new management, and seeing what their thinking is. Would be wise to promote the driver training and safety aspect of what our sport offers to average drivers, and especially maybe a Teen Driving School. Fingers crossed.
  19. Very nice to have these future dates well in advance. My 2024 office calendar gets these first so we can plan our social activities properly.😉 Next up Tucson, and then Sierra Vista events. I do wish we’d find some way…… people (likely need a second set of officials), and location that would allow us some perhaps early day abbreviated events for May, June, July, and August. Our calendar is almost five months between events, unless you travel, and not everyone can. Maybe not even every month, maybe even just a special event or two. Those used to be among our most popular events.
  20. Yeah, you can. But Phoenix and Tucson can’t yet because they still have events to score.😎
  21. Wow, thanks. This is way earlier than past years. Used to be sometimes January before posted. Creating my spreadsheet now........👍 Everyone be aware that also in the past that often there were later revisions and "adjustments" after initial postings.. Stay alert.
  22. The problem with Discount Tire is retention of the good tire technicians. Every now and then I'll find a good one, and then the next time there they are gone.
  23. I too always bring loose tires and wheels.......never on the car. And pay with cash.
