  3. We will get our dates published shortly, but we have a year of Kino events coming up, including some 2 day events in the nice time of year! keep your eyes out for the dates.
  4. We are still working the rest of the calendar, but for those who are not able to go to the solo tour in Phoenix we will have a Saturday Event Feb 24th at Musselman.
  5. Reminder for those of you with family in town, we have free loaner helmets, spectators are welcome, ride alongs are free (you do need to sign a quick form at the truck first if not an SCCA member), Or even better with the purchase of a weekend membership and event entry they can drive!!!
  6. Registration for AZBR autocross on October 29th at Kino Sports Complex is open at https://registration.azbrscca.org!! It will close at 7PM on Friday, October 27th so don’t forget to register!!! (you can register on site for an additional fee, we would prefer you per-register and not show up than to register on site) If you are at the event early and looking for something to do, please come up to the truck and see how you can help.

(if in doubt register and let us know you can't make it is better than having to register on site and fit you in) NOTE: We have an earlier start time to ensure we can finish before 4pm Site Opens: (Registration & Tech Open) 7:30am Please do not enter the parking lot until waiver and registration are setup Registration Closes 8:30am Tech Closes 8:45am (if you register for both days, tech on Sat is good for Sunday) Novice Walk 9:00am (if you are new to autocross please leave enough time to get thru tech and into the Novice walk) Mandatory Site Meeting ~9:15am (as soon as Novice Walk Finishes Run groups will be A for B & B for A Competition runs only C for D & D for C Time Only “Fun runs” only Please remember that getting a new site is extremely difficult, please respect the site and adjacent surface streets when you are coming and going, no speeding, aggressive driving, etc. I recommend that you enter via Country Club to Milber. You might be able to snake thru via Ajo to Forgeus, but that will take some snaking around based on where we are closing the road at. Additional Kino Site Restrictions: · No animals are allowed - Service dogs that provide specific ADA qualifying assistance are allowed, unfortunately emotional support animals do not qualify for this. · No Glass containers · If you are using jackstands, ramps or anything that could dig into the pavement, please place a piece of wood under the stand to protect the asphalt, boards are available in the SCCA truck to borrow.
  9. Just run the normal pressure, you are going to have to deal with the wear. If anything flip the tires inside to outside half ways thru their life. Adding toe is just going to accelerate the wear as you are adding slip angle and that is acting on the parts of the tire that have the most pressure on them. (assuming that your deviating from 0 toe in the driving/dynamic state, IE compliance in suspension could drive toe off of 0)

  13. We could use some additional help at the 10/23 event (and future events) to setup the course. For the next event we are going to be down at least one setup person and could use more help, but would love to also get more people trained in how to setup the cones to match the map. If you are experienced setting up course, or interested in learning how to set one up please plan on arriving at 7 am, and we would be happy to have you help and learn a new role.

Updated Kino Event Details: Gates and Registration will open at 7:30 AM, (we are going to maintain the Mussleman registration check in as you get into the parking lot, with a controlled single point entry to paddock.) Work/Run Order: A for B, B for A - A and B will be competition runs ONLY C for D, D for C - C and D will be time only runs only

  17. Scott correct, 8:30 is the Musselman Start time for the winter (that surface needs more sun time to heat up) we will be starting earlier at Kino, **most likely** the gates will open at 7:30 at Kino.
  18. The rains we have been getting have not been too heavy, i expect the highway will be fine. there may be some dirt on the roads closer to Musselman but i expect those will be passable. All the projected rain totals i am seeing for Sunday are pretty light

  21. It is the lots to the west of that. Google maps does not show them as re-paved, but they are all new pavement.

If you've been wanting to get more involved in your Region, or need to take a class before your license expires, here's your chance. Autocross events literally cannot happen without a licensed SSS, so join your regional team today....err, next Wednesday!
  23. Sorry I did not see this before the event. But for the future. Yes. We can do on site registrations, we just prefer to keep that as the exception instead of the rule. If you l know you will be registering on site it is helpful if you email registration at azbrscca.org to give them a heads up as soon as you can. You can also sent PayPal payment to payments at azbrscca.org. we can do limited cash on site and prefer paypal.
