I've been autocrossing an ND Miata since 2017. Moved to Hawaii during COVID and stopped autocrossing until coming back to the mainland/Phoenix. When we did the Vegas Pro on a whim last year in a borrowed STX car, we decided we might as well just build another STR ND. The car is objectively incredible. Low power, but a flat enough power curve to be good anywhere on course. Almost a year into our latest ND though, we're ready to move on to a different platform and do something new. Codriving a GTR in AS during this past weekend's tour solidified that decision. We'd been thinking of taking a plunge in the deep end of SS GT4 ownership, but also considering looking for a GTR or taking a risk on an Evora GT.
I don't have an dollar amount in mind yet, but posting here to get a conversation started if anyone is interested in the car and/or parts package. Already have an ND but want to make the move to STR? I've prepped and unprepped so many of these we can talk about a full parts conversion!
This is a national-level pointy-end build. I had the 2nd quickest STR run on day one of 2018 Nationals and was leading STR in 2019 on day 1 Nationals by 3 tenths in my previous ND1 STR car. Day 1 because I'm a hack on day 2 haha. The car was cobbled together right before Nationals in 2023 and didn't handle properly without testing, but has since been completely dialed in at Phoenix events. Plenty of experience with this platform.

If you've been to recent Phoenix events, you've likely seen the car around. The wrap isn't perfect - I did it myself (first time wrapper) in the heat of August, in an open carport, rushing to prep the car for Nationals. Looks great from 10+ feet, but the bumpers are patchy. The paint is perfect underneath though, as you'd expect from a 2500 mile 2023.
