FrinkBRZ Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Can someone with the minor waiver knowledge remind of the rules. My daughter wants her 17 year old boyfriend to attend the autocross this weekend. He will not be driving. He does want to ride along though. What are the requirements? Thanks! Quote
Faith Hare Posted April 17 Posted April 17 A parent or guardian needs to be on site with the minor (all day). And both PR and SCCA minor waivers have to be signed. Faith Hare Quote
FrinkBRZ Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 (edited) Thanks Faith! I had no idea the parent had to be there. Phew! That's stringent. Am I allowed to be his guardian or does the guardian need to be the same as the parent that signed the minor waiver? Edited April 17 by FrinkBRZ Quote
Kim Kemper Posted April 17 Posted April 17 SCCA is very cautious about minors in the hot areas (which includes grid and passenger in car). You cannot be his guardian, parent is needed. Quote
FrinkBRZ Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 Ok thank you for answering Faith! I was hoping you would see my post! See you Sunday and hope you have a eventless drive down to the Phoenix area. Quote
