Sad News: Alan Wagstaffe

Alan hasn't run AZ or CA Solo is quite a few years now, but some of you may remember him from when he ran his CM FF1600 Lola at Firebird Skidpad 4 and Sierra Vista, then his C4 Corvette and finally his B-Mod LeGrand in Sierra Vista, Tucson, and San Diego. Alan was the one who got me excited about designing and building my own BM car after I helped him with the initial sorting of his car. BTW, Alan's BM car is now in CT. After accomplishing the next major step in its design and development, the Krystiniks,Tamra and Andrew, run it at a National level.  About 7 years ago now, Alan and his wife very graciously allowed us to park our motorhome on their horse property in Scottsdale. Linda was able to stay there on the days that she was too tired to drive back to Prescott after a day at the Envita clinic.   Alan had an interesting 2nd career rewiring exotic vintage sports cars like Ferraris after retiring as an electrical engineering manager from Motorola. Alan was also an avid ATV enthusiast.  Facebook
