So how about this near Wittman? About 1 hour NW of Phoenix off Grand Ave. the Toyota Proving Grounds. Rumored they will rent to Organizations.

Not sure of surface logistics out there, or if they would even have an adequate skidpad. Worth a look?

I used to work at this proving ground. VDA is similar in size to AMP, but surface is definitely far superior. They will likely have strict requirements for preventing any damage to surface so they can maintain it for proper developmental testing by OEM customers.

I predict there would be many hurdles to using this site. For one, paddock and grid would be big challenge because any reasonable location would inherently disrupt other test operations on the adjacent track surfaces. As a developmental test site with prototypes running around, everybody will have to leave their GoPros at home, and your phone cameras will have tamper-seal stickers put on the cameras. If people take photos, security will confiscate your phone and look through your photos to delete anything you took on site.

Probably the biggest blocker would be the facility/organization driver training requirements that are tied to even just driving a car for basic or intermediate maneuvers on a test course, let alone the advanced/limit handling driving that our club does.

I wouldn't get our hopes up about this site, but it's worth having the club site liaison reach out to AMTC about potential site rental if anybody in club leadership is seriously considering it. There's a Contact link at the top right corner of the website Scott shared.

It hasn't come up, but has the club considered State Farm Stadium Yellow, E2, or West lots? There are light poles to design around, and maybe it's too expensive, but thought I'd ask.

Brian Miller and I checked them out , it was very expensive and they wanted their asphalt replaced if the parking lines were impacted by tire marks.

I get the too expensive aspect, but replacing asphalt for damaged parking lines? You meant repainting, correct?

nope they would require it be replaced not just repainted and pointed out a section that was done (replaced) due to some electric cars and their activities   that effectively removed them from consideration
