morbid Posted February 10, 2023 Share Posted February 10, 2023 Citroen's CEO recently said that the trend of super heavy EV's had to shift soon to get those cars lighter, so less batteries are needed, so they're lighter, so less batteries are needed... etc. Also reminds me of some F1 team a while ago saying they were going to start making road cars because they thought everyone was doing them wrong. Adding tons of weight for crumple zones and other safety stuff, and that team said the cars could be safer and much lighter using things they've done in F1.
