I ran in the "C" Group and I had a time of 46.992 on my 4th run. I noticed there was no cone penalty added to that run. I hit a cone approaching the finish and the results do not reflect the cone penalty unless the cone miraculously popped back up or wiggled its way back into the box upright, which I don't have that kind of luck, should reflect the cone. I don't believe that omission of the cone will not make any difference in the overall difference in the class or PAX standings.

Hey Kenneth - Our audit sheet showed a cone on your 4th run so I've added it to official timing. You're correct that it makes no difference in class or pax standings.

Hey just want to shoutout to the course designer. I thought yesterday's course had some pretty nifty new elements and combinations. You can see in the run spreads that even top people we're still figuring it out all the way through the 5th run.
(Except Bucki who mopped us. Reeeeally makes you think how the guy winning is also the guy running timing and scoring doesnt it??? 🤔🤔🤔)

Agreed with Scott, very fun course yesterday. Lots of dirty runs trying to carry as much speed as possible through the slalom-y sequences but super rewarding when it all worked out.

Also, LOL at the T&S comment - someone is finally onto me! 😉

  3. Yes there was a Joe’s Racing gauge sitting on the table when I was packing up timing equipment after the event. Not sure where it got placed after I took off but I suspect one of the tear down folks placed it in lost and found.

  4. Results from the 09/17/2022 event have been posted to the results page. Please post any corrections or questions here.

Since the scoring software currently doesn't support time-only runs, I've attached pictures of the TO timing sheets below. I hope to update the software for TOs in the next month or two so you'll be able to view them online.

  5. The Vegas region needs some help staffing a handful of key worker positions at their upcoming 4/1-4/3 National Tour event. The most immediate need is Chief of Impound but they could also use help at registration, gate, and tech. DM me if you’re interested in helping out and I’ll get you in contact with someone from their region.

If haven’t been to the Vegas site or a National Tour event, this is a great opportunity to check them out. The site is big, grippy, and has all-around good motorsports vibes being located at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The course was designed for the Porsche GT4s Miatas.

Fixed that for you 😉 The GT4 by no means sucked out there but my ideal GT4 course design would look quite different than Sunday's design. Definitely a speed maintenance course with very few opportunities to utilize throttle. Still a fun time and managed my first ever FTD.

    Run 3 - 46.729

  7. Fun course but we really struggled with rear grip Saturday, both on and off throttle. Spins, cones, and lots of counter steering… Made for an entertaining drive but unfortunately not as quick as we’d like.

Best I could do was this 37.807:

  8. Yesterday, I was informed that the F Street index we used for the January event was incorrect. There were a couple of adjustments made to the official 2022 PAX/RTP index after they were first published and I didn't get them entered into our system until mid-event yesterday. The January event results have been updated to use the correct FS index as were yesterday's, so it's possible you may notice some slight changes to results in index classes (SPM, Ladies, Novice).
