[Day One PASR Tour March 4th Pics/Video Thread]

Great 1st day back to autocrossing after 20 years!!!  Made some new friends, re-met some old friends, and started to find out what my car likes. Thanks Mike Hitt for taking that first run with me and giving me some pointers, Amanda Hitt for giving me his tire pressures 😉 (my old tire pressures from my Taurus were way off 🤪) and everyone else that came by and chatted me up.  Made a lot of progress between Run 1 and Run 5, the car is a lot faster than I am at the moment, hopefully maybe I can break into the 40's tomorrow.  🙂

[What Car Is This?]

It's one of the old Tesla Roadsters that was based on a Lotus platform. IIRC these were made around 2010. Top Gear did a review on it that they got sued over. 😛

Happy to have yet another muscle car in our Region...

 

From my reading of the rules if I am missing carpet ahead of the B-Pillar I can't run CAM-T, so I selected CAM-S since you can remove the carpet in CAM-S.  Just trying to stay within the rules.  I do plan on having carpet later in the year, just have some welding to do first.

Was part of the club way back in 2001-2003 (i think?) and it's great to see a few familiar names in the results of the past few months. Looking forward to the March events, should be good this time (i had registered for September but the car just wasn't ready). A little nervous about making the sound limit, but i guess we'll find out March 4th. See y'all there!!!
