  1. Would it be possible to get an updated sound check at this upcoming event if I'm not registered for that event?  I finally got my car's issues sorted, and am planning on attending next month's event.  My car is only a little louder now, but if it doesn't pass then I was hoping I'd have time to do something about that.  I just want to make sure that I can run at the December event and not get rejected, since I missed events 1-3 already this season.  Thanks!

  2. Hrm... I see that now...

Each Pre-Registered SCCA member driver can invite up to 2 guests each, max 29 total per session, first come first served.  Please add invited guests to your driver registration on MSR.

Is that going to change anytime soon?  I don't think I'm opposed to being a member, but I didn't realize that it would restrict this event in any way.

  3. The new site looks nice!  I first joined in 2001, and I thought the old site hadn't changed much since then or before then.  Or did it?

For the results, I always thought it would be nice if there were driver / car databases.  Something that allowed you to do more with the data.  The results page could just query that info and display it.

  4. Banner, the SCCA guide would be a good start.  On page 57 is where course penalties (including specifics about pylons) are discussed.

You'd want to get there early enough so that you'd have time to walk the course at least 2 times.  If there's a walking group where someone is explaining specifics about each section of the course, that would also be good for you... but I'm not sure if those are going on right now.

So we aren't going to be running a driver's school this year. Instead, it will be a test and tune day. Well be making some announcements about it soon, and if they relax restrictions, we should have some instructors annular that day if you'd like some help. But that one is a bit out of our hands at this point...

Dave, will there be corner weighing at that event?  Long ago there were club scales, but it's been a long time since I've seen any mention of them.... so I'm not sure if they're around any more.
