  1. Really enjoyed working things out to execute this course well. It took me until my 4th run to pick up the right visual cues for executing the long sweeper through the middle of the course as a single feature rather than breaking it into multiple bites and inputs. Unfortunately, my camera borked that run, so here's video of the 46.4 on my 3rd run rather than the 45.0 I ran after I got things figured out.

  2. The second day was a bit frustrating for me because I felt like I was executing things well, but the lap times really weren't reflecting what I thought they should have been until the last run. Firing up the excuse machine: I ran in A on Saturday versus D on Sunday, and I think the surface temp difference with the high sun didn't play well with my tires; I think my mid-2018 date code Rivals with 130+ runs on them may finally be cooked and ready to send off after the April event as they really didn't seem to be giving good grip until I got them properly hot at the end of the run group. I ended up at a 47.2 on my last run, and that really felt ragged and overdriving from inside the car.

  3. Really challenging and rewarding Sunday course. That opening slalom was surprisingly tough with the awkward entry - super fun the couple of times I set it up right. I also found the final walloms tough to execute - only got that sequence right on a handful of runs. My best day 2 run:

  6. Couple of fun courses this weekend, hard on equipment and tires, but fun once you got it right. Here was my 45.283 from Saturday. After some coaching from Brian Peters I ran a 44.551 in Time Onlys but had GoPro battery issues so no video of it. And here is my Co-driver Patrick's 44.861 from Saturday

  7. So i had a party foul this weekend and wanted to call it out and apologize to those involved, i intend to do better in the future. What happened? I noticed i was venting some axle lube, not a huge amount, but enough to notice. The grid spot i was on had already had a spot of oil dry on it, so when i was completed with my runs i followed suit and put a handful of oil dry on my spot and ground it in, but ended it there. A little while later i heard the following driver complaining and realized I'd messed up. Was too embarrassed to talk to them directly, but did my best to make it right by sweeping up their grid spot while they were on their first run. To that driver, i apologize, it won't happen again.
