  1. I had to reschedule the purchase so it won’t make an appearance until next month.
  2. I should have a new toy to display at the event. Not ready to drive yet but it should be there.
  3. Just had Cruz mount my A052s earlier this year. They are a tire rack installer, so you can ship directly to them. They give us a deal on the mounting and balancing, so be sure to say you're with the SCCA club. It will end up being cheaper than the tire rack website says it will be.
  4. I have decided to sell my BRZ, or at least put it up for sale to autocrossers to see if anyone wants to buy it. If no one does, I'll just keep it for the time being rather than pull the parts off and sell it piecemeal. It's a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited currently with 50.4k miles in World Rally Blue. I have all documentation and service records, both keys and all the stock parts (at least I think I have them all), except for the stock wheels and tires which got stolen out of my back yard. I am the original owner; I bought it new in the fall of 2013 and I have the clean title in hand. It was maintained by Camelback Subaru while under warranty and later by Subiworx after the warranty was up. I have done all the mods myself with the exception of the headers, which JDL installed. Enkei RPF-1 17x9 ET35 wheels (can fit up to 255/40-17) Yokohama A052 245/40-17, with about half their life remaining, maybe a little less. Racecomp T2 double adjustable coilovers with 400/400 lb/in springs and a pair of 450 lb/in springs as well. Vorshlag front camber plates Vorshlag pillow ball rear top mounts JDL unequal length catless headers, overpipe and midpipe with high flow cat (all 2.5") Stock resonator pipe with Burns Stainless SM-225-450-22 muffler welded in place of the resonator Nameless Performance dual exit 2.5" axleback exhaust with 5” mufflers Ecutek ProECU bluetooth dongle and Moto East STX legal tune (tune by email), updated this winter/spring K&N air filter Whiteline positive shift kit Whiteline rear subframe bushings Whiteline rear diff bushings Whiteline rear upper control arm bushings SPC adjustable lower rear control arms Move Over Racing front bumper quick release New OEM clutch with upgraded OEM throw out bearing, spark plugs, MAF and O2 sensors all installed this past winter/spring New (like a month old) custom fit Coverking car cover For those keeping score, this is $8500 in parts not including the wear items and repairs. The only thing more you could really want to do with it is have it dyno tuned if you really want that extra 5hp. You could also put $10k shocks on it, but again very limited return on your dollar there. The car is not slow, especially with someone other than me driving it. It's mechanically perfect, including the AC. Interior is also more or less perfect with no wear or defects that I have noticed. There are a few small dents and scratches outside. The front bumper cover has a 1" crack down by the front lip, and there is a paint blemish from a particularly sickly bird that took a crap on my hood one time. The special autocrosser deal is that I will sell it for the Edmunds clean condition private party estimate of $17,900. You get all the go-fast parts for free. Like I said before, I am NOT interested in parting out anything. Either someone buys the car with all the parts or I'll keep it for now. PM if you have any questions or want to see it, and feel free to share this post with others who may be interested. PS: this was a late 2013 production car so it came with the upgraded valve springs from the factory. It wasn’t subject to the valve spring recall, so no worries that the recall work was done incorrectly or that it has the “bad” valve springs. UPDATE: Car is SOLD. 5. I think no. 14.8.2 says: 2. On arm-and-strut (MacPherson/Chapman) suspensions, the lower arms may be modified/replaced OR other methods of camber adjust- ment as allowed by Sections 14.8.B, C, or F may be used, but NOT both. So you can replace the lower arms, but cannot implement other methods of camber adjustment if you do so. If the camber bolt is there stock, it's OK. But if you're adding it, then it would violate 14.8.2.
  6. Yes it is, as long as that is the only means of added camber adjustment at the rear. Meaning you can't have both adjustable control arms AND adjustable offset control arm bushings. But either one on its own is fine.
  7. The CDC guideline say nothing about being able to not wear a mask at outdoor events once vaccinated. The guideline state: You should still take steps to protect yourself and others in many situations, like wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet apart from others, and avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces. Take these precautions whenever you are: In public Gathering with unvaccinated people from more than one other household Visiting with an unvaccinated person who is at increased risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 or who lives with a person at increased risk https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
  8. You don’t like Perl? How about we use awk?
  9. No it was sold to another forum member a while ago.
  10. In Tucson, I used Nu Wheel more than once and they were great. There are similar places in Phoenix, but I have no experience with them.
  11. I have a work colleague with a Acura RSX manual. She's considering donating it to charity, but wanted to ask if any SCCA people might want to buy it cheap to use as a project car. She doesn't have a price in mind, but given she was going to donate it to charity, I'm guessing she'd take hundreds, not thousands. It has 300k miles, but runs and is in OK shape. Could make a good cheap project car for someone. If anyone is interested, I can put you in touch for more information.
