  3. Couple of fun courses this weekend, hard on equipment and tires, but fun once you got it right. Here was my 45.283 from Saturday. After some coaching from Brian Peters I ran a 44.551 in Time Onlys but had GoPro battery issues so no video of it. And here is my Co-driver Patrick's 44.861 from Saturday

  4. I would like to thank everyone for helping this 63yr old kid to get faster. So many folks to to thank. Must say my Pro-Am partner this weekend, Brian Peters is a Cone Whisperer. Kind of like he was inside my head seeing everything I was doing wrong and kept working on fixing it. Beyond that, every person I was able to talk to was way more than happy to help with hints. All helped so much Thank You All.

  5. Was a great track. I really liked the kink just before the showcase. I DNF there a few times, it just kept sneaking up on me. lol

  7. My 89 C4 Corvette had plenty of pressure, up around 70 or so, and I did not have any rods knocking.

  8. So i had a party foul this weekend and wanted to call it out and apologize to those involved, i intend to do better in the future. What happened? I noticed i was venting some axle lube, not a huge amount, but enough to notice. The grid spot i was on had already had a spot of oil dry on it, so when i was completed with my runs i followed suit and put a handful of oil dry on my spot and ground it in, but ended it there. A little while later i heard the following driver complaining and realized I'd messed up. Was too embarrassed to talk to them directly, but did my best to make it right by sweeping up their grid spot while they were on their first run. To that driver, i apologize, it won't happen again.

  9. Great 1st day back to autocrossing after 20 years!!! Made some new friends, re-met some old friends, and started to find out what my car likes. Thanks Mike Hitt for taking that first run with me and giving me some pointers, Amanda Hitt for giving me his tire pressures 😉 (my old tire pressures from my Taurus were way off 🤪) and everyone else that came by and chatted me up. Made a lot of progress between Run 1 and Run 5, the car is a lot faster than I am at the moment, hopefully maybe I can break into the 40's tomorrow. 🙂 Run 1: Run 5:

  11. Not too bad to start the weekend off. After watching Stephens video I definitely see the spots I left time. Not bad though 9th in pax overall for the first day. I can’t wait for day two.
