  1. This is the Mustang Ecoboost with the High Performance Package. It has the higher HP and much of the GT suspension and brakes. As far as I could tell, there isn't a difference from the standard Ecoboost and the HPP version. I'm just verifying that is the case.
  2. Decided to upgrade to a 2020 Mustang with the 2.3-cyl Ecoboost Performance package. Trying to determine which classes the car is legal for. At this time it is stock, no modifications at this time. in the future, probably a catback exhaust. Further in the future might be an aftermarket drivers tuner seat (Cobra, Corbeau, Recaro).
  3. Tire Rack has test the Continental Extremecontact Force. They say it is close to their top pick the A052.
  4. It appears Wildhorse Pass will be closing in 2023, to make room for new hotel, office complex and I-10 overpass. So, if that was ever an option at their cost, it's gone.
  5. The AMP waiver is now signed when you enter the site.
  6. Is there an update on what discussions and decisions the committee had?
  7. Also, remember the club gets a rebate when members order from Tire Rack through the link in the website.
  8. AZ Auto Trends changed to The Lift Shop, located at the same location. Cruz was there when I had tires changed last year. They went with the Lift Shop name, because most of their business was lift work. I'm not sure they changed, but call and check. They told me they still do Tire Rack tire installs.
  9. Unfortunately, because of Covid, loaner helmets aren't available.
  10. In addition, Maricopa County has a mask mandate still in effect. So, until the county's mask mandate is rescinded, masks would be required.
  11. Unstable vehicles with a high center of gravity and a narrow track, includ- ing SUVs, minivans, and 4WD pickups, must be excluded. Examples of such vehicles are listed in Appendix A. Extra caution should be exercised with non-traditional vehicles (e.g., trucks using racing slicks). In the SCCA Solo Rulebook for 2021, it shows how to figure the rollover quotient. It's figured by figuring the track length and overall hight of the vehicle. If it is considered similar to the Subaru Forester in size, it would be excluded.
  12. Dave, Kim informed me that we are down on SSS and needs me to be a second SSS. So, if Kevin is still available to do worker check-in for the morning, that would be a better option.
  13. I have checked both AZDHS and Maricopa County sites, both showing no update to the 50 person limit for outdoor gathering at this time. I know it was mentioned that limited attendance for the NASCAR is being considered, but that is November.
  14. I plan on running the morning session in B group.
