Bmw 135i convertible - allowed?

Hey all, was hoping to join an autox at AMP this fall in my 135i convertible 6spd. It is bone stock. Am I allowed to run? If so what class? Thanks and hope to see you all out there

Thanks for sharing, so I *think* after searching the document that I can run in the street class without a roll bar as long as the top of my helmet does not go above windshield? Correct me if I’m wrong

Right but is the 135i convertible allowed

BMW 135i, straight stock, which can be built with a BMW vert? 390 SCCA pages - yeah, in my opinion, it is FS.  Register as FS

Results/Position/Classification can always be fixed later

Yes, convertibles are allowed. Most Miatas out there do not have roll bars, and I am not aware of any rule about helmet above windshield.

But you are specifically NOT allowed to roll it over........😉. For sure against the rules. I hear it's a two second penalty.🤣 But also stay away from all fencing at AMP.🙄

Thanks! Hope to see you there. I added a signature, but don’t see many other folks with a signature so not sure exactly what to add but it’s a start!
