  1. Would it be possible to get an updated sound check at this upcoming event if I'm not registered for that event? I finally got my car's issues sorted, and am planning on attending next month's event. My car is only a little louder now, but if it doesn't pass then I was hoping I'd have time to do something about that. I just want to make sure that I can run at the December event and not get rejected, since I missed events 1-3 already this season. Thanks!
  2. Awesome! I had a black 2000 Cougar that I got me started autocrossing. It was a solid car... I can't wait to see yours running the course!
  3. Hey Scott, and what's new with you? I got new springs, wheels, tires, rear sway bar, down pipe, and a different tune. I'm really excited to test out the new setup... I just hope the sound check doesn't object.
  4. Thanks Lance. I get it... just bummed I missed that part of the notification, or else I would have signed up before tonight.
  5. Hrm... I see that now... Is that going to change anytime soon? I don't think I'm opposed to being a member, but I didn't realize that it would restrict this event in any way.
  6. So I tried added my daughter, who has been wanting to watch for a while, and it rejected that... saying I needed to be an SCCA member in order to invite a guest. I don't recall reading that anywhere before. Is that correct?
  7. The comment about allowing up to 29 visitors (2 per driver), will the visitor(s) need to be registered, and would that be during the event registration?
  8. It's interesting to see names that I remember autocrossing here long ago, but haven't seen at the recent events.
  9. I used to always look forward to the summer CAC mini road course events!
  10. Yep, got my email and paid. I'm glad it all got sorted... thanks all!
  11. Well this gives me hope. I was minutes away from 20:00 and got distracted, then registered at 20:10 and it was full. I understand it fills fast, but I didn't think that fast. Here's hoping for an open slot!
  12. The new site looks nice! I first joined in 2001, and I thought the old site hadn't changed much since then or before then. Or did it? For the results, I always thought it would be nice if there were driver / car databases. Something that allowed you to do more with the data. The results page could just query that info and display it.
  13. Lance, your videos are fun to watch! Here's mine. I wish I had realized I mounted the camera too high this time as the mirror blocks a lot of the course.
  14. Here's my best clean run (47.094). It's a little shaky. I tried mounting it to the passenger headrest this time... I've already moved my mount back to the driver's headrest.
  15. Sounds like that's probably where it would be. It seems similar to the Focus RS, so DS/STU.
  16. I do miss the summer events at the CAC road course. Is there any chance of that location happening again?
  17. Very fun, and good utilization of the space! It was long and fast.
  18. B28 should be Xiana Crenshaw. I'm pretty sure B28 (Edmundo Cruz - 2006 Subaru WRX STI) was a no-show, and that C9 (Xiana Crenshaw - 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution) took his place. So those times are probably hers.
  19. Would it be possible to pop in for just getting corner weighed? I currently have nothing to change and test, but would really like to get weighed before I do more to the car.
  20. Banner, the SCCA guide would be a good start. On page 57 is where course penalties (including specifics about pylons) are discussed. https://solo.stlscca.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/2020-SCCA-Solo-Rules-3-16-20.pdf You'd want to get there early enough so that you'd have time to walk the course at least 2 times. If there's a walking group where someone is explaining specifics about each section of the course, that would also be good for you... but I'm not sure if those are going on right now.
  21. Dave, will there be corner weighing at that event? Long ago there were club scales, but it's been a long time since I've seen any mention of them.... so I'm not sure if they're around any more.
  22. Will this be the same format for the next event -- no spectators? There was another thread that sounded like AZDHS said it could be larger, that the 50 person limit was for indoor events.
  23. The results went up a while ago on the main site (not the forums). http://www.azsolo.com/backup/index.php/events-info/results
